You can now get Office Add-ins from the Store or use Add-ins you already have from right within recent versions of Word for Mac and Excel for Mac.
There are two kinds of add-ins: Office Add-ins from the Office Store (which use web technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript) and add-ins made by using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).

Get an Office Store add-in for Word or Excel for Mac
Jun 27, 2017 Use SQL Server for Development on MAC OS I want to use SQL Server for carrying out development activities using SSIS and SSRS, but i have a Mac Book. Can i install Windows using VMWare or any other similar software and then install windows on it with required software.
On the Insert menu, select Add-ins.
To get new add-ins, select Store. To use add-ins you already have, select My Add-ins.
The add-ins you'll see will depend on the app you're using and the kind of Office 365 subscription you have.
Office for Mac doesn't currently support organization-based add-ins.
Get a VBA add-in for Word or Excel for Mac
On the Tools menu, select Add-Ins. Does microsoft edge work on macs.
In the Add-Ins available box, select the add-in you want, and then click OK.
Requirements
Office Add-ins aren't available in Office for Mac 2011. They're only available in newer versions.

If you experience a problem with Visual Studio for Mac, we want to know about it. Here's how to report the problem to Developer Community so that we can diagnose and fix it.
How to report a problem
To report a problem for Visual Studio for Mac, the best option is to initiate the report from Visual Studio for Mac. Reporting through Visual Studio for Mac allows for diagnostic information to be automatically included in the report. If you can't use Visual Studio for Mac (due to a crash, for example), you can report the issue directly on the Developer Community site.
To report a problem with Visual Studio for Mac, select Help > Report a Problem from the menu bar:
If you are not signed in, select Sign In; it's on the right-hand side of the tool, as shown in the following screenshot. Follow the instructions on-screen to sign in.
When you sign in, you can report a problem that you're experiencing. You can also vote or comment on any other problem that you see posted.
Once signed in, you will be able to see your reported problems and solutions in the Followed problems and solutions screen
Visual Studio for Mac provides an interface to search for your problem and see if others have reported it. If someone has reported it, you can click on the title and 'up-vote' it to let us know.

To search, enter your search terms into the search box and either click Enter or press the Search icon.
If you don’t find the problem you encountered, choose Report a New Problem at the side of the screen.
Create a descriptive title for the problem that helps us route it to the correct Visual Studio for Mac team.
Give us any additional details, and if possible, provide us with the steps to reproduce the problem.
Select Next to move to the Include Attachments tab. Here, you can capture your current screen to send it to Microsoft. To attach log files, click on the icon, or to attach additional screenshots and other files, click on the icon.
If you were multitasking while typing, it is completely possible you typed several sentences in all caps! I’m so good at typing now that I don’t even look at the screen a lot of times when I know exactly what I need to type. Rather than retyping the all-caps text, Word has a built-in option to fix the problem. Jan 03, 2015 I was using my Office 'Word' app to write my journal and all the letters are coming up CAPS.
